Update from London :-)

I know, I know it's a while ago I last wrote for this blog. Many many
things happened in the last couple of weeks. The two most important
things; (1) Our course at college was cut off because we were only
three remaining students (out of six at the beginning - not that much
either). So this changed a lot because that was the main reason for
my stay in London, and I put so much effort in it and suddenly on
this particular Friday we were told that this was our last day of
school (at least for this year). Then we were offered to join the
next intake in January, as we have already attended the first couple
of month we can continue in March 2008. Which means my BA is again
postponed! I'll finish (if we really can start with the next intake,
which still stands in the stars :-) next December 2008. Long long way
to go. (2) But the very superuberdupper good thing is, I've found a
job! And not only A job, no I've found a job as web designer/
developer which is what I expected to get after my BA year. So I know
how to spend the time until the course continues -> working full-time
on great projects. One project I am working on at the moment is a
crisis management system (online) built with PHP, mySQL and a lot of
Javascript (AJAX stuff). I am nearly finished with the project, and
will have a presentation tomorrow. I hope the client likes the new
version of it (we had to tweak his existing system a bit - well more
than a bit).
Next Thursday I am flying back to Switzerland for three weeks
relaxing Christmas and New Year holidays. I am really looking forward
to it! Another announcement I can make is that I'll replace the
current site with a new one, blog will remain as it is but new layout
and a nicer project gallery and as well some new features. So stay
tuned.
